Do we have to migrate to a single PMS?
No. ARQ Dental is PMS-agnostic by design — mixed estates are the normal case, not the exception.
How quickly can a new acquisition be onboarded?
Once access to the PMS is granted, most locations are reporting within days.
Does ARQ Dental integrate with Open Dental?
Yes. Open Dental is one of the most common connections in our estate, covering production, ledger, scheduling and provider data with a daily refresh.
Does ARQ Dental integrate with Dentrix, Denticon, Curve or Ascend?
Yes. All four are supported, and mixed estates running several of them side by side are normalised into one consistent KPI model.
Can ARQ Dental connect to our ERP, accounting and payroll systems?
Yes. ARQ Dental reads general-ledger data from finance/ERP systems and labor data from HRIS and payroll, which is what makes true location-level EBITDA and labor-cost-per-production-hour possible.
Is the integration read-only?
Yes. ARQ Dental reads from your systems and never writes back to clinical or financial records, so there is no risk to your source of truth.
How is patient data protected during integration?
Connections are encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-scoped, and audit logging is applied to data access. ARQ Dental is designed to support HIPAA compliant operations and is currently preparing for its SOC 2 examination.
What happens if a PMS version is upgraded or a location switches systems?
Field mappings are maintained by ARQ Dental. Version upgrades are handled on our side, and a location switching PMS is remapped to the same canonical model so its history stays comparable.
What if a system we use is not on the supported list?
We regularly add connections, and where a direct integration does not yet exist we can ingest scheduled data extracts so the location is still reported alongside the rest of the network.
